The new line of compact GDE and GLB electronic damper actuators operates with low power consumption, enabling more actuators to be wired to each transformer, the company says. The units are said to offer the highest torque in the industry (44 lb-in. as compared to the standard 35 lb-in.). They accept shafts from 3¼8- to 5¼8-in. dia. One set screw installation eliminates bolts, says the company. Manual override is also available.
