Sid Harvey Adds Four Outlets

GARDEN CITY, N.Y. - Sid Harvey Industries Inc. acquired assets of Danzer, an HVAC distributor based in S. Charleston, W.Va. The inclusion of the Danzer outlets brings the total number of branches operated by the company to 75 as Sid Harvey's celebrates its 75th anniversary of service to the contractors in the heating, air conditioning, refrigeration and plumbing trades.

Danzer supplies commercial and residential market products such as Heil heating and cooling equipment; Hart & Cooley registers and grilles; Owens Corning ductboard, wrap, and liner; Lukjan sheet metal products; Skuttle humidifiers; and Duro-Dyne sheet metal hardware.

The new Sid Harvey branches cover the trading areas of West Virginia, eastern Kentucky, Ohio, and southwest Pennsylvania.

The staff of each branch will remain intact as they make the change over to Sid Harvey's. In the S. Charleston branch, Danzer general manager, Joe Vealey, will assume the position of regional sales manager. He is joined by Danny Sowards, the assistant regional sales manager, and John Sowards, the S. Charleston branch manager. The other branches are managed by Keith Adams in Huntington, Scott Rose in Hurricane, and Joseph Miker in Morgantown.

"Danzer represents a prime opportunity for Sid Harvey's to extend our presence into a new area. Danzer has always had an excellent reputation among contractors in this region and we are confident that the additional products and services that Sid Harvey's brings into the mix can only strengthen these branches," said John Rynecki, senior vice president of sales and marketing. "This is a natural fit for our company and meets our strategic goal of expansion and growth into new markets."
