Sept. 9, 2010: ACCA Announces 2010 Safety Masters Club Winners

ARLINGTON, Va. - The Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA) has announced the members of its 2010 Safety Masters Club, sponsored by Federated Insurance, along with its Award of Merit winners in their individual categories.

ACCA teamed with Federated Insurance in this effort to help HVACR contractors demonstrate their commitment to safety in the workplace. The Award of Merit recognizes those ACCA contractor members with the best safety record and program for 2009 in each of four categories based on man-hours.

The 2010 Safety Award of Merit recipients are:

• 0 to 40,000 hours: Wilson Air Conditioning Service Inc., Powder Springs, Ga.

• 40,001 to 100,000 hours: Hobaica Services Inc., Phoenix

• 100,001 to 200,000 hours: Peaden Air Conditioning, Panama City, Fla.

• 200,001+ hours: Tri-City Mechanical, Chandler, Ariz.

The complete list of 2010 Safety Masters Club members includes: Aaron York’s Quality Air Conditioning, Indianapolis; Bay Area Air Conditioning, Crystal River, Fla.; Blue Dot Services of Maryland, Forest Hill, Md.; Clark Inc., Paradise, Pa.; Frymire Services Inc., Dallas; Hobaica Services Inc., Phoenix; Isaac Heating & Air Conditioning, Rochester, N.Y.; Ivey Mechanical Company, Kosciusko, Miss.; MSI Mechanical Systems Inc., Salem, N.H.; Peaden Air Conditioning, Panama City, Fla.; Shafer Services Inc., San Antonio; Shapiro and Duncan Inc., Rockville, Md.; TAG Mechanical Systems Inc., Syracuse, N.Y.; Thermal Concepts, Davie, Fla.; Tri-City Mechanical, Chandler, Ariz.; and Wilson Air Conditioning Service Inc., Powder Springs, Ga.
