ALAMO, Calif. - MPlus Integration Inc., a developer of software-based home network control solutions, and ViewSonic® Corp., a supplier of visual display products, have introduced the V210-B1 Home Control System Bundle. With MPlus' latest home control software package and ViewSonic's 10-inch airsync™ V210 wireless display, the bundle is designed to manage devices and systems throughout the home, including HVAC, through an Ethernet-based unit.

By allowing multiple displays to run on a single standard PC, the V210-B1 controls home theater, lighting, security, and HVAC on a home's network, the companies say. A new visual tool kit called the Tweakerâ„¢ offers the ability to customize functions without programming, say the companies. In addition, the V210 can also be used to surf the Web, check e-mail, and look at photos from anywhere in the home.

"We are very excited about this next generation product using ViewSonic's V210 wireless display," said Joseph Storm, CEO of MPlus. "We have added new Java-based client software as well as the ability to run multiple panels throughout the home using a single PC."

"The V210 wireless display with MPlus home control software opens the door to a whole new world of home entertainment and systems control," said Dan Coffman, senior product manager for ViewSonic. "The bundle is faster and easier to set up than similar systems and can be customized to the user's specific needs."

MPlus' new Java-based software will have the ability to run on other devices such as cell phones and PDAs as well as Linux computers. These new options will enable control from common devices already available and will give integrators more flexibility in home control and automation design, according to the companies.
