Sept. 29, 2006: HARDI Conference Set for November

PALM DESERT, Calif. - "Enhance Your Success" is this year's theme for the Heating, Airconditioning & Refrigeration Distributors International's (HARDI's) fall conference, scheduled for Nov. 4-7 in Palm Desert, Calif.

"One of our goals at HARDI is the promotion of excellence in HVACR wholesale distribution, and the structure and content of this conference is intended to meet that end," said Bill Shaw, 2006 HARDI president. "This meeting is again jam packed to maximize the time and value to all attendees."

Michael Marks, opening keynote speaker, will discuss "Succeeding in Today's Distribution M&A (Mergers and Acquisitions), David and Goliath World." The special presentation "Rebounding From a Business Disaster" will follow. Five concurrent educational tracks are to be offered multiple times, along with council sessions and other meetings.

New to the conference this year is the HARDI Solutions Center. This venue will showcase the offerings of service vendors and purchasing/marketing groups. Members will have resources available for business services, education/training, technology and software, and materials from industry organizations.

"I recommend you share this information with others in your organization," said Shaw. "This will be an event to enhance your success."
