RSES Presents HVACR Industry Awards

DES PLAINES, Ill. - The Refrigeration Service Engineers Society (RSES) honored the following individuals and organizations at its annual awards luncheon during the 67th RSES Annual Conference in Calgary, Alberta.

The Paul B. Reed Award, which recognizes RSES chapters with exceptional educational programs, was presented to several chapters. The winners include: Southern Arizona Chapter, Tucson, Ariz., small chapter category; Yosemite Chapter, Modesto, Calif., medium chapter category; and Greater Toledo Chapter, Toledo, Ohio, large chapter category.

The John Spence Award, which recognizes the RSES member who achieved the highest grade within the past year on the Certificate Member (CM) exam, was awarded to David A. Schmidt, CM, Greater Cincinnati Chapter, Cincinnati.

The Imperial Award recognizes RSES Certificate Members with the highest grade on a Specialist Examination during the past year. Winners include: Sidney T. Bloomfield, CMS, Winnipeg Chapter, Winnipeg, Manitoba, Commercial Refrigeration Specialist; Richard Hoke, CMS, Fox Valley Chapter, Elgin, Ill., Domestic Specialist; D. Brian Baker, CMS, Winnipeg Chapter, Winnipeg, Manitoba, Heating Specialist; George W. Hicks, CMS, Southern Nevada Chapter, Las Vegas, HVACR Electrical Specialist.
