RSES Partners With Tecumseh

DES PLAINES, IL — The Refrigeration Service Engineers Society (RSES) has formed a new partnership with Tecumseh Products Co. Through this ongoing partnership, RSES and Tecumseh will offer shared educational seminars to RSES members and the hvacr industry.

RSES and Tecumseh plan to use these seminars to continue to raise the competency level of technicians for the benefit of the hvacr industry. The society offers one- and two-day seminars in a variety of technical specialty areas, including such topics as IAQ, CO detection, and electrical troubleshooting.

“This training partnership is focused on preparing technicians to achieve certification,” said James D. Rutz, general manager of Tecumseh’s Cool Products Division. “Having a good, strong base of technicians adds value to all manufacturers by raising the real value of the industry to consumers.

“Tecumseh believes that NATE (North American Technician Excellence) and NTC (National Technician Certification) certification programs are foundational in achieving excellence in service practice.”
