RSES Chapter To Host UMRA Conference

FARGO, N.D. - The Red River Chapter of the Refrigeration Service Engineers Society (RSES) will host the 2004 Upper Midwest Regional Association (UMRA) Conference April 16-17, 2004, at the Ramada Plaza Suites in Fargo.

The schedule of events includes educational seminars by Kenneth Luther, manager engineer service, Fluid Handling Division-ITT Fluid Technology Corp., titled "Common Pipe Design & Application" and "Primary/Secondary Zone Pumping."

Harold Mehaffey, president of HEMCO Inc., will discuss "Application, Sizing, Selection, and Placement of Refrigeration Equipment." HEMCO Inc. is a sales representative for Chandler Heatcraft Refrigeration Equipment. Sgt. Pat Claus, Fargo Police Department Narcotics Unit, is the scheduled speaker at the Drug Awareness Luncheon.

Jerry Wallock of Sporlan Valve Co. will present "Components in Refrigeration And A/C Systems - Where They Are and What They Do," and Harry Samms of A.O. Smith Electric Motors will present "Things You Should Know About Motors, but Never Thought to Ask."
