The PressLiner is a battery-powered press tool with an electro-hydraulic drive and controlled, fully automatic pressing sequence. This tool is used for the connection of copper and brass press fittings up to 4 inches in diameter and connections of ASTM F1807 PEX tubing up to 1 1/4 inches in diameter, eliminating the use and dangers of a torch and solder. The controlled, fully automatic pressing sequence begins with a brief press of the security touch switch. The controlled pressing action ensures uniform, complete joints that conform to the specifications of press system manufacturers. The 12-V motor shuts off and the piston returns to its original position when the cycle is complete signaling a complete crimp. An easy-to-reach emergency stop switch immediately drops the oil pressure and returns the piston to its original position. Constant Force Technology (CFT-registered) provides constant axial shearing force eliminating the dangers of excessive pressing force. The jaw fixture rotates 270 degrees making the tool easy to fit into tight spaces and odd angles.
