Ridgid: Camera Inspection Accessory

The SeeSnake® digital adaptor is an accessory for the microExplorer™ digital inspection camera. It allows users to add the ability to digitally record to existing SeeSnake camera inspection systems. The new adaptor connected with the digital inspection camera can be used on any video out-enabled monitor, including SeeSnake VHS or DVD monitors. This allows digital recording capabilities and a secondary playback screen to be added easily to an existing camera system. According to the manufacturer, the accessory allows users a simple way to stay competitive by being able to bid on projects requiring digital outputs, without having to purchase a whole new system. The high-resolution anodized aluminum camera head, with a water- and scratch-resistant sapphire lens and four fully adjustable LEDs to adjust lighting for any job, sits at the tip of a flexible 3-foot cable that is reinforced with a waterproof vinyl jacket. The digital inspection camera is a handheld video inspection system with a 3.5-inch color LCD screen that allows users to take digital quality JPEG images and record AVI video onto a secure digital (SD) card.
