WASHINGTON - The Quality Service Contractors’ (QSCs’) summer Power Meeting reminded contractors of the importance of using the highest ethics and integrity, whether dealing with the media, hiring employees or providing customer service.
A variety of speakers presented information about best practices and guidelines that would help contractors’ companies operate in a correct and fair manner. Members shared ideas with other contractors in a new small shop roundtable and visited a QSC member office to learn about the different ways members operate their businesses.
QSC members also had the opportunity to tour the White House, have lunch with Rep. Lynne Westmoreland (R-GA), and visit their federal legislators’ offices. The meeting included a golf tournament sponsored by Hodes Co. that benefited Challenge Air, an aviation program for physically challenged children. The event raised more than $12,000.
