East Coast Mechanical, Inc., a $5 million Virginia contractor, has become the seventh mechanical service company to be acquired by PSEG Energy Technologies. Founded in 1991, the company employs 50 workers. Harry E. Paul Jr., East Coast Mechanical owner, will remain as president and general manager.
“Being a part of PSEG Energy Technologies, we are instantly much more of a competitive force in our market area,” Paul said. “We will no longer be simply a traditional mechanical contractor.
“We can now provide clients with a full range of energy-related services, ranging from project financing and building operating to a variety of energy management products and services.”
PSEG Energy Technologies services commercial-industrial customers throughout the Northeast. Its recent acquisitions include mechanical contractors in Rhode Island, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania.
