The low-pressure switching (LPS) monitor measures positive and negative pressure while preventing unnecessary shutdowns. The monitor utilizes two independently set switch points for alarm warning and/or shutdown. An LED display indicates when the sensed pressure limit is exceeded and signals an alarm. The adjustable time delay prevents false alarms. Features of the LPS monitor include a power requirement of 12-24 VAC/VDC, 4-20 mA, or 0-10 VDC analog output and compliance with UL 508 and CE EN 61326 EMI requirements. The monitor's analog circuit design eliminates potential microprocessor software problems, states the manufacturer.
