FALLS CHURCH, VA — The Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors — National Association (PHCC) Apprenticeship and Journeyman Training Committee began reviewing and updating its Plumbing Apprenticeship Program at a recent committee meeting held here.

According to PHCC, initial efforts will focus on year one of the program, with subsequent updates for the remainder of the program to follow. The program will include an up-to-date curriculum, new apprentice workbooks, and updated National Guidelines for Apprenticeship Standards (to be approved by the Bureau of Apprenticeship Training).

TICO Enterprises, which has been contracted to write the curriculum, also will facilitate a “Train the Trainer” seminar to familiarize instructors with the program.
