Emerick M. Woods has been appointed chief executive officer of Aligo Inc. (San Francisco and will be on the company's board of directors.

Spirax Sarco (Blythewood, S.C.)has named Roger W. Barnes, P.E., vice president of marketing and technology, Patrick A. Tillisch vice president of sales, and Richard S. Gavlin vice president of energy services.

James A. Cika has been appointed to the post of Specialty Water Heating Manager of Rheem Water Heaters (Montgomery, Ala.).

AirAdvice Inc. (Portland, Ore.) has named Kurt Stecker as regional sales distribution manager and Jim Cahill as contractor support manager, Northwest region.

John Manning has been appointed as sales engineer of R.W. Beckett Corp. (Elyria, Ohio).

Scudder-Taylor Oil (Hyannis, Mass.) has added John Goodman as a heating and cooling service technician and Danny Lynch as a heating service technician.
