John Szczygiel has been appointed president of the Security Systems division of Siemens Building Technologies Inc. (Buffalo Grove, Ill.). Szczygiel replaced Mark Landis, who retired.

Venmar CES Inc. (Saskatoon, Saskatchewan) has announced the appointment of Danny Pellerin to plant manager at the St.-Leonard-d’Aston, Quebec, Canada site.

Air Purchases Inc. (Burlington, MA), a wholesale distributor, has hired Ned Curry as the sales representative for Rhode Island and parts of Massachusetts, and Kristopher Sergi as a driver in the Burlington warehouse.

Brandon Jacob, (Houston, Texas) a certified public accountant (CPA) specializing in business valuations, acquisition support, and financial analysis support specifically to contracting trade businesses, has recently become a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA).
