Version 2.02 of Comfort Optimizerâ„¢ load calculation software is available. It performs room-by-room or whole-house load calculations in a fraction of the time required by a conventional program, claims the company. Using a mobile device, the software permits the user to walk through each room of the house while entering data, resulting in a completed calculation with the push of a button. This new version extends the software compatibility to include virtually all devices that have the new Microsoft operating system, Mobile 5.0, including PDAs, cell phones, and Palm Treoâ„¢. Other enhancements include an ability to display a room's square footage on the system design report summary page, and better definition of variables such as storing the default floor selection for slab-on-grade components.
