TAHLEQUAH, Okla. - Jim Ferrell's name was drawn from a stack of over 60,000 entries as the national winner of the 2003 Stars and Stripes Promotion Program sponsored by American Standard Heating and Air Conditioning. Ferrell is the owner of Ferrell Heating and Air in Tahlequah, which he has been running for the last 10 years. The company has sold the American Standard brand for the last two years.

As the winner of the drawing, Ferrell had to choose between a 2004 Ford F-150 pickup truck, an 18-foot Ranger Bass Boat, or a 100th anniversary Harley-Davidson. Ferrell chose the truck.

American Standard announced the Stars & Stripes program would be repeated in 2004, starting in March and running through August. American Standard dealers are awarded bonus dollars for selling selected high-efficiency residential and light commercial air conditioning products. In addition to the bonus dollars, dealers also receive entries into the grand prize drawing. The 2004 program grand prize is a choice of either a 2004 Hummer H2 or a 2004 Chevrolet Corvette.
