Oct. 8, 2010: Delmar Partners With Grainger to Make Training, Reference Materials Available to the Trades

CLIFTON PARK, N.Y. - Delmar, part of Cengage Learning, has announced a new distribution agreement with Grainger, a leading supplier of maintenance, repair, and operating (MRO) products. With this agreement building trades professionals will now be able to purchase Delmar training products and reference materials through Grainger. Available products will cover several trades, including building and construction, HVACR, electrical, and others. Specific product lines include the DEWALT® Professional Reference Series, the Residential Construction Academy Series, National Electrical Code®, and other training and professional reference products.

“By including Cengage Learning’s high quality materials in Grainger’s comprehensive product offering, we are making it easier for our customers to acquire the full spectrum of tools needed to complete construction projects - from building supplies to training materials to code reference books,” said Greg Clayton, vice president, Cengage Learning. “We recognize the importance of making it easy for our customers to get the resources that they need. Grainger’s expansive reach into the industrial construction market enables us to place our products where our customers already are.”

Grainger customers can access Delmar products through Grainger’s branch locations, catalog, and its website, www.grainger.com. National Electrical Code books are currently available for preorder at www.constructionbook.com and Oct. 18 at www.grainger.com.
