Oct. 19, 2010: NATE Seeks Volunteers to Update Certification Knowledge

ARLINGTON, Va. - North American Technician Excellence (NATE) announced that it is conducting a new job task analysis of its certification exams. NATE said its certification exams periodically undergo this thorough maintenance. Thus, NATE is seeking HVACR industry volunteers to participate in the process of validating and reviewing its Knowledge Areas of Technician Expertise (KATEs) and setting the amount of questions to be asked from each section.

The task will require conference call participation and review of the KATEs being updated. If interested, please contact NATE with your name, address, phone number, e-mail address, and area of expertise (i.e., air conditioning, air distribution, heat pump, gas furnace, and/or oil furnace).

For more information about NATE, visit www.natex.org.
