DALLAS, TX — John Chester Souders, ceo and founder of Reacond Associates, died February 20. He was 82.

Mr. Souders joined the U.S. Army in 1943; he was honorably discharged in 1945 and then worked in Lancaster, PA for Merchant and Evans as a production supervisor. He began his 30-year career in refrigeration in 1952, as a sales associate for Illinois Auto Electric (Chicago, IL).

In 1962, Mr. Souders moved to Montgomery, AL, where he assumed the role of national sales manager for Arctic Traveler. In 1964 he moved to Dallas, TX, and became the national sales manager for Frigiking. In 1967 he started his own business, Reacond Associates.
