The firm has augmented its line of spot coolers with a new inventory of MovinCool units for sale or rent, with cooling capacities from 10,000 to 60,000 Btuh. NuTemp is an authorized distributor for MovinCool in many North American markets.

In fact, the company has already been called out to handle requests in Manhattan. The management of a popular shopping center recently realized that their permanent HVAC system needed to be temporarily taken offline for maintenance. However, temporary cooling was needed to keep the temperature within the strip of stores at the center comfortable.

The facilities director for the mall and the project manager with the property management company handling the mall called Ed Cox, territory sales manager for NuTemp. Together they devised a temporary cooling solution.

Typically, NuTemp would use chillers and air handlers or large air conditioners for larger rental cooling applications. However, since the mall's air handlers and duct system were disabled, spot coolers were brought in instead.
