Nov. 8, 2007: Draft Residential Maintenance Standard Open for Comment

ARLINGTON, Va. - The Air Conditioning Contractors of America Educational Institute (ACCA-EI) has announced an American National Standards Institute (ANSI) public review period for its “Maintenance of Residential HVAC Systems” as a new proposed industry standard. The public review period will end on Nov. 26, 2007.

The proposed standard establishes minimum inspection requirements in the maintenance of HVAC equipment found in one- and two-family dwellings of three stories and less. It can be downloaded and read at www.acca.org/tech/ansi/.
