NKF-720 contact adhesive is designed for sealing seams and butt joints in elastomeric and polyolefin pipe and sheet insulation. The company says this amber adhesive's viscosity allows it to be brushed on easily without running. NKF-720 forms a tough, flexible, and moisture- and heat-resistant seal (200 degrees to 220 degrees F, depending on the surface) when used with elastomeric materials, states the manufacturer. It can be used on a variety of surfaces, including concrete, felt, wood, leather, and metal. The adhesive is not easily absorbed, making it a good choice for bonding porous and nonporous materials, says the company. The adhesive is available in pint, quart, and gallon containers.
