NEWS' Giveaway and Readers' Choice Continue

TROY, Mich. - The activities continue on The NEWS’ 2010 Dealer Design product microsite. The product giveaway is in full swing, and the Readers’ Choice bracket competition is quickly narrowing down the field.

Benjamin J. Eckard is the owner of ComfortTech in Princeton, Ill., and the second winner of The NEWS’ 2010 Dealer Design Product Giveaway. He received the Fluke 233 meter.

“I receive The NEWS weekly and always check out the Dealer Design site. I also receive the Fluke newsletter and the last issue featured the 233 meter,” Eckard said. “I thought that would be a great addition to my tool bag. So when I read that I could enter to win it, I submitted every chance I had.”

When asked why he continues to interact with the Dealer Design microsite, Eckard said, “The Dealer Design Awards help provide me with information on products that I can use to keep my business running effectively.”

The next prize to be won is the ecobee Smart Thermostat. It is a WiFi-enabled programmable thermostat with a touch screen just like a smart phone.

“This means increased sales, fewer callbacks, and greater profitability for you,” said the company. “It was designed and built in partnership with HVAC contractors. It is always a four-wire install, and the installation wizard provides a checklist for configuring the thermostat.”

Users on the Dealer Design site can submit daily entries placing them in a random drawing for the ecobee Smart Thermostat. The more entries submitted, the better the chances of winning. The winner will be drawn in October and announced in an upcoming issue of The NEWS.

After entering the product giveaway, users can take a moment to cast their vote for their favorite product in the 2010 Readers’ Choice Awards. The voting ballot changes every few weeks and the brackets are updated as results are tabulated. The voting will continue until the final winner is announced in October.

There is a lot to do and see on the 2010 Dealer Design site and the activities continue. For more information, visit www.achrnews.com/dealerdesign.
