WASHINGTON, DC — Members of the National Association of Wholesaler-Distributors (NAW) have elected W. Grady Rosier chairman of the group’s board of directors. Rosier, also president and ceo of grocery and food distributor McLane Co., replaces Alan B. Vidinsky, chairman of Valin Corp. in Sunnyvale, CA. Vidinsky will remain active on the board, having been named immediate past chairman.

Rosier says one of his top priorities is to work with NAW and its Wholesaler-Distributor Political Action Committee, to help ensure pro-business candidates are elected to the U.S. Congress this fall.

The following industry leaders were also elected as NAW officers for 2002: chairman-elect Andre B. Lacy; first vice chairman William A. Parsley; second vice chairman Sydney (Tucker) Jones III; secretary Robert Reynolds; and president and ceo Dirk Van Dongen.
