EAST PETERSBURG, Pa. — The National Association of Oil Heating Service Managers (NAOHSM) has scheduled seminars for its 50th convention to be held at Hershey Lodge & Convention Center in Hershey, Pa., from May 18-22, 2003.

According to NAOHSM, a wide range of management seminars have been scheduled. Four management seminars will be held May 19. Art Mecuro will discuss flat-rate pricing, National Oilheat Research Alliace (NORA) Education Center leader Mike Markarian will emphasize the importance of NORA certification for service technicians, Al Levi, former NAOSHM education chairman and founder of Appleseed Business Inc., will focus on building in-house training programs, and Rich Larkin of Hedge Solutions will delve into heating oil futures.

The convention wraps up its seminars on May 21, with two more management sessions. Levi will continue on the theme of building a training program. The other management session will be conducted by Nancy Allen, who will present methods of effectively selling oil heat against competing fuels.

On May 20 and 21, Dan Holohan will address participants on the issue of problem customers. The NAOHSM’s roundtable sessions will provide attendees the opportunity to exchange ideas on oilheat issues.
