NAIMA Joins Campaign For Home Energy Assistance

ALEXANDRIA, Va. - The North American Insulation Manufacturers Association (NAIMA) announced its support of the Campaign for Home Energy Assistance, a broad-based coalition of advocates for Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP), which works to ensure the program receives adequate federal funding.

The Campaign for Home Energy Assistance works on behalf of LIHEAP and its companion program, The Weatherization Assistance Program, to ensure that financial help is available to aid low-income households meet their energy needs. This financial assistance enables people to pay unexpectedly large energy bills and also to weatherize and insulate their homes. Educating people about insulation and its numerous benefits directly supports the strategic goals of NAIMA. By supporting these critical programs with the use of their products, insulation can help save lives.

"NAIMA is pleased to support the Campaign for Home Energy Assistance in its effort to increase funding for the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program" said Ken Mentzer, NAIMA's president and chief executive officer. "We value the opportunity to educate families on how easy and low-cost it is to weatherize homes and reduce energy costs with insulation and other products."
