WASHINGTON, DC - The National Air Duct Cleaners Association (NADCA) has released its latest standard, Assessment, Cleaning & Restoration of HVAC Systems, or ACR-2002. According to NADCA, the standard is the first comprehensive U.S. standard on hvac cleaning and addresses the need for system cleaning and restoration.
ACR-2002 describes how to properly clean hvac systems, how to clean fiberglass-insulated hvac components, and how to monitor an hvac cleaning project. It also details how to determine if a system has been cleaned effectively.
NADCA plans to provide training on the standard Sept. 21-23 in Tampa, FL, and in Baltimore, MD.
