The Munters DryCool ERV - D-ERV-3000 through D-ERV-16000 - is an outside air energy recovery dehumidifier. The unit utilizes enthalpy recovery from building exhaust air to pretreat outside air and then utilizes a condenser reactivated desiccant cycle to dehumidify the air to below space humidity. This product includes an enthalpy wheel, desiccant wheel, packaged DX refrigeration circuit, supply fan, and exhaust fan. It employs R-410A refrigerant and a complete controls package is a standard inclusion in the unit. Complete with scroll compressors, it is controlled by a space-mounted humidistat and has options for night setback mode, BMS interface, heating options (gas, electric, hot water, and steam), and corrosion resistant coatings. The casing is R14 2" double wall foam injected panel with Galvalume outer panel. Applications include schools, hospitals, office buildings, hotels, and all other buildings that require outside air. A lack of exterior cooling connection requirements helps simplify installation. All controls are included standard, eliminating coordination with outside controls.
