Mother And Son Die From CO Poisoning
PITTSBURGH, Texas - A mother and son here died from accidental carbon monoxide (CO) poisoning on Nov. 19.
Local officials said it appeared that the mother had left her minivan running in the basement garage of the family's home sometime that evening. Her husband found her body near a door in the basement when he came home from work Saturday morning.
Their 11-year-old son was found dead on a couch in the family room, directly above the basement garage.
