The separated combustion, tubular heat exchanger, gas-fired unit heater line is built on the successful residential Hot Dawg® platform. It offers seven sizes rated from 150,000 to 400,000 Btuh and is designed to withstand the most hostile commercial and industrial environments. According to the manufacturer, every heater gets 100 percent of its combustion air from outside the heater’s immediate environment. An optional stainless steel heat exchanger is available on the complete line. The unit heaters offer natural or propane gas (field convertible) for more flexibility. Horizontal and vertical concentric venting options are available. A swept-wing fan is provided on the 100,000-200,000-Btu sizes for superior airflow and noise reduction. The unit heaters are available in both propeller fan (PTS models) and centrifugal blower configurations (BTS models).
