McQuay International: Chiller
Solid-state starters are standard equipment on the GeneSys™ air-cooled chillers. According to the manufacturer, these starters monitor power quality and minimize component stress during startup and shutdown, which in turn help extend the chiller’s life and reduce maintenance. An LED panel displays operating status and fault information for troubleshooting and preventive maintenance. The chillers have efficiencies of 10.0 to 10.6 EER and up to 14.0 EER at part-load IPLV.
