The new line of products includes a hospital-grade HEPA (High-Efficiency Particulate Arrestance) air cleaner, an electronic air cleaner (EAC) with a lifetime filter system, a media retrofit air cleaner, and an in-duct ultraviolet (UV) air purifier.
The EAC can be installed with the company's whole-house HEPA air cleaner and media retrofit air cleaner, achieving 96 to 120 whole-house air changes per day, the company said.
The HEPA air cleaners connect to the return air ducts and divert one-third to one-half of polluted air through the three-stage filtration system, the company explained. According to the company, this cycle is repeated four to five times per hour, removing contaminants such as pollen, mold, and smoke.
According to the company, the media retrofit air cleaner yields a higher initial efficiency and maintains a high efficiency over the life of the filter, helping to protect household furnishings from dirt particles that can stain and prolonging the life of heating-cooling equipment.
