New electronic controller boards are standard on the CCR, TAF, IHC, TLG, and BLG Series of low-temperature reach-ins. Controller boards replace mechanical parts including a room thermostat, defrost timer, defrost termination/fan delay control, and temperature indicator. Monitors control refrigeration temperature and offer a cyclical reset feature for the compressor, defrost system, evaporator fan, and alarm. For the company’s walk-in refrigeration systems, an optional master controller mounted to the evaporator coil housing is available. According to the manufacturer, the master controller offers up to 15% refrigeration system energy savings due to the electronic expansion valve and demand defrost feature.
