March 30, 2006: General Filters Acquires Garber Filters

NOVI, Mich. - General Filters Inc. announced that it has acquired Garber Filters Inc. According to the company, Garber Filters, the pioneer of spin-on fuel oil filters, is a strategic brand addition aligned with General Filters' other brand offerings.

"This addition will provide our customers with a wider product offering, superior service, and fast efficient shipping," said John Redner, president, General Filters Inc.

"You can expect the same Gar-Ber brand quality, look, and performance. Nothing changes. Spin and Grin reliability made in the U.S.A.," said Tim Barton, national sales and marketing manager for General Filters.

Manufacturing of the Gar-Ber brand product offering has moved from Seattle to Novi, Mich.

"We look forward to serving our existing and new customers," said Redner.
