  • Joseph W. Prueher, former U.S. Ambassador to the People’s Republic of China, has been named to Emerson’s (St. Louis, MO) board of directors.
  • Invensys (Richmond, VA) has announced the formation of Invensys Energy Solutions to help customers with potential energy-related savings. Enrique Santacana has been named as president of Invensys Energy Solutions.
  • Lennox Industries, Inc. (Dallas, TX) has joined the Indoor Air Quality Association (IAQA) as a corporate member. Lennox currently has a complete line of IAQ products branded under the Healthy Climate™ name.
  • Honeywell (Minneapolis, MN) has announced that Cadet Manufacturing (Vancouver, WA) has agreed to purchase $1.5 million in electric heat thermostats from the manufacturer. Also, Honeywell Home and Building Control (H&BC) has chosen First Alert Professional Services as the exclusive reseller of the Honeywell Home & Away™ control system.
  • Lau Industries, Inc. (Dayton, OH) plans to expand its engineering laboratory facilities at its headquarters. The current lab will be expanded to 27,000 sq ft and will include the addition of two airflow performance test chambers and an acoustic performance test facility.
