David N. Farr, CEO of Emerson (St. Louis), has been elected chairman of the board for the company. Farr replaces Charles F. Knight, who served as chairman since 1974 and was recently named to the honorary position of chairman emeritus.
Bradford White Corp. (Ambler, Pa.) promoted two staff members at its facility in Middleville, Mich. Michael P. Reid was promoted to vice president of materials, and Harold D. Hoover was promoted to vice president of manufacturing.
Goodman Manufacturing Co. (Fairfax, Va.) has selected ServiceBench to automate its distribution channel. The company's Warranty Management Solution is expected to connect approximately 300 distributors to participating contractors.
