  • Emerson (St. Louis) announced its third-quarter results for the fiscal period ended June 30. Net sales were $4.036 billion, a 13-percent increase over the same period in 2003.   • Mestek Inc. (Westfield, Mass.) sponsored the 2004 U.S. Women's Open Championship at The Orchards in South Hadley, Mass. Mestek's Distributor Products Group, which includes HydroTherm, Smith, RBI, SpacePak, Sterling, Beacon Morris, and the residential baseboard companies, was one of four top-level sponsors for the LPGA event July 1-4.

  • Modine Manufacturing Co. (Racine, Wis.) announced it has completed the acquisition of the South Korean assets of the Automotive Climate Control Division (ACC) of WiniaMando Inc. ACC has locations in Asan City, Korea; Shanghai, China; and a joint venture in Hefei, China.
