  • A.O. Smith Water Products Co. (Ashland City, Tenn.) named James D. Grasha to the newly created position of vice president and general manager of the company's water systems business. He is responsible for the company's water systems plants in Charlotte, N.C., and Stratford, Ontario, as well as sales, marketing, operations, and engineering of water systems tanks and pump tanks.

  • Cliplight Manufacturing Co. (Toronto) received its certificate of registration for ISO 9001:2000.

  • ABB (Norwalk, Conn.) expanded the course offerings of its ABB University training operation to include Industrial IT Extended Automation System 800xA, and new ABB Drives. The schedule also includes information about gas chromatograph, continuous gas analyzers, and mass spectrometer course options.
