  • Garry Stroud, president and general manager of Copeland Canada and Alco Controls (Brantford, ON, Canada) has retired after 30 years. Steve Wood will replace Stroud as general manager of Copeland and Alco.

  • Lindab Inc. (Stamford, CT) has announced that its non-woven polyester fabric is now standard on all of its double-wall ductwork. Regardless of duct size or shape, the company will use the fabric in every SPIROsafe Double Wall component.

  • Burton D. Cohen, retired senior vice president and chief franchising officer for McDonald’s Corp., has been elected to the board for directors of The Dwyer Group (Waco, TX), effective immediately.

  • Lau Industries (Dayton, OH) recently presented an award to Advanced Ventilation Products (Sterling Heights, MI) for achieving the milestone of two years of successful business. Advanced Ventilation Products is a manufacturer representative for Lau Industries.
