International Comfort Products (ICP) (Lewisburg, TN) has appointed Halsey Cook as president. Cook will lead marketing, product management, channel development, and sales for the ICP product lines.

Doug White has joined Watts Industries (Springfield, MO) as group vice president; chairman of the board, Watts Radiant; and vice president and general manager of Watts Premier. Also, David C. Ernst has been named to the board of directors at Watts Radiant.

Industrial Acoustics Company (IAC) (Bronx, NY) will open a new manufacturing plant this month in Tijuana, Mexico. The plant will manufacture the firm’s Quiet-Duct® silencers.

PowerCold Corp. (Lavernia, TX) has appointed James Chirieleison as director of international business development.

Don Kemby has acquired Renfro-Franklin Company (Ontario, CA) and has renamed it RFC Wire Forms, Inc. The name change was initiated to more closely identify the company with its core business, which includes manufacturing fan guards, motor mounts, and wire racks.

Riello Burners North America (Mississauga, ON, Canada) and Eclipse Inc. (Rockford, IL) have formed a strategic alliance. The companies will co-market their technologies, including mutual distribution, co-branding, and new product development.

Gary Metal Mfg. LLC (Gary, IN) has purchased the assets of Gary Steel Products Corp. Gary Metal Mfg. will be headed by Frank Zudoc, Dave Strilich, and Jeff Strilich.

Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) has honored SEMCO Inc. (Columbia, MO) with its “Small Business of the Year Award.” SEMCO was selected for its technical performance and commitment to energy efficiency, humidity control, and IAQ.

Zamil Air Conditioners (Dammam, Saudi Arabia) was honored recently with the “Business Excellence” award from Middle East Economic Digest.
