  • International Comfort Products (Lewisburg, Tenn.) rewarded Acme Refrigeration (Baton Rouge, La.) with a Lincoln Navigator, an all-expenses paid Mediterranean cruise to Italy, and $3,000 for its outstanding sales performance.

  • Ametek Commercial Motor Division (Kent, Ohio) hired R. Bruce Gaynor as division vice president of marketing and sales.

  • Tom Barrow Co. (Atlanta) has been appointed sales representative for McQuay International (Minneapolis) in Georgia.

  • Ultraviolet Devices Inc. (Valencia, Calif.) announced the retirement of longtime HVAC industry veteran and UVC authority Forrest Fencl following the 2005 Winter Meeting of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE). The company plans to honor Fencl's contributions to the industry at its display in booth 4462 at the AHR Expo.

  • Rheem Manufacturing Co., Air Conditioning Division (Fort Smith, Ark.) named Keith Murray District Technical Representative of the Year and bestowed the Top Gun Award to Greg Parks.
