Luxaire Raises $1 Million For Make-A-Wish Foundation

OKLAHOMA CITY - Three years after Luxaire Heating and Air Conditioning entered into the first of two three-year contracts with the Make-A-Wish Foundation, the company has raised more than $1 million for the organization that grants wishes to children who suffer from life-threatening medical conditions.

As a corporate sponsor, the company donates a portion of every Luxaire product sale toward the company's minimum annual contribution of $250,000 to Make-A-Wish. In addition, dollars raised by the company's combined sales efforts support local Make-A-Wish chapters located in dealer markets. Luxaire also encourages homeowners to participate in the program by offering them the opportunity to donate all or a portion of their rebates during spring and fall promotions to their local chapter of the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

"Our affiliation with the Make-A-Wish Foundation differentiates Luxaire in the market," said Tim Lashar, Luxaire brand marketing manager. "The partnership aligns our performance promise with an outstanding national cause that brings joy to children in our local communities and invites Luxaire distributors, dealers, and customers anywhere in the nation to get involved."

As part of the program, Luxaire encourages its dealers to work closely with their local Make-A-Wish chapters on a variety of easy-to-implement programs or customized projects that are relevant to the dealers' communities. The company has developed marketing and fundraising materials to make it easy for dealers to support many of these programs and projects.
