This line of roof curbs features an overlapped corner design, which makes the curbs stronger and more durable, for an extra margin of safety, states the company. According to the manufacturer, this unique overlap-joint construction allows the roof curbs to hold up to 25 percent more weight than comparable products and reduces the ability of rain to penetrate vulnerable corner areas. The roof curbs can be built to accommodate items such as HVAC equipment, exhaust systems, and access panels. Each roof curb is made with 16-gauge (minimum) galvanized steel and factory-installed fiberglass insulation.
