The A+ pneumatic open-throat cleat benders are designed to speed the cleat bending process and to limit labor and material costs. All of the manufacturer’s open-throat cleat benders accommodate preformed and L-shaped duct as well as flat material of any length. They accept up to 20-ga mild steel (20-, 22-, 24-, 26-plus-ga sheet metal) and bend adjustable 7/16- to 1/2-in. drive cleats 180 degrees or more. It allows cleats to be teardrop shaped, closed flat, or open ended. Material remains flat during the bending cycle and is automatically released. The machine uses no chains or belts and can be ordered for bench mounting. It has a two-year parts warranty.
