MONTREAL - Effective Jan. 18, 2011, SIE, located in Baie-D’Urfé, Quebec, became a division of Laurentide Controls Ltd.

Laurentide Controls is the exclusive sales and service representative in eastern Canada for Emerson Process Management companies including Fisher, Rosemount, Micro Motion, Fisher Regulators, DeltaV, and Rosemount Analytical as well as companies such as Velan, ABZ, Det-Tronics. Since 1949, SIE has been a manufacturer’s representative for industrial, commercial, and residential plumbing and heating.

According to the company, “This will now enable both Laurentide and SIE to leverage our complementary product lines, services, and expertise to better serve our customers by offering a more complete line of products and services.

SIE will continue to operate out of its current location.
