Larry Konopacz

Larry Konopacz was recently appointed manager of training and education at Bell & Gossett’s Little Red Schoolhouse in Morton Grove, Ill.

Konopacz brings industry experience to his new position, having served in a variety of training, engineering, and manufacturing capacities there during the past 25 years. Konopacz succeeds Roy Ahlgren, who retired in March of this year.

“Education is critically important in the HVACR industry,” said Konopacz. “The Little Red Schoolhouse has a reputation of being the industry’s premiere hydronic heating and plumbing educational institution, and I am honored to now be a part of that great educational tradition.”

The Little Red Schoolhouse offers seven seminars throughout the year. Since 1954, more than 56,000 engineers, contractors, and installers have been trained in the Little Red Schoolhouse’s fully equipped learning center, while another 136,000 professionals have received training through B&G’s traveling classroom program.
