Coad was a 1949 graduate of St. Louis University High School and a 1957 graduate of Washington University School of Mechanical Engineering, where he received a degree in engineering and was a member of Theta Xi Fraternity.
Robert F. Tanner, 86, of Byrdstown, Tennessee, died Sunday, Feb. 2, at Miami Valley Hospital South. Tanner was the founder and president of Airtron Inc. and, later, president of Tanner Heating/Air Conditioning.
Herbert Roy Jacobson, past Mechanical Contracting Association of America (MCAA) president and former executive of the A.D. Jacobson Co., Kansas City, Missouri, died Aug. 1 in Rancho Mirage, California, where he retired.
Donald P. Dick, 81, died July 27 at his home in Fresno, California. Dick created Mr. Cool on April 1, 1964. Building on what he had learned, Dick started Donald P. Dick Air Conditioning on Sept. 1, 1970.
