Standard Specifies a Process for the Calculation of Standardized Predicted Energy Savings

The Building Performance Institute Inc. (BPI) has announced that ANSI/BPI-2400-S-2012: Standard Practice for the Standardized Qualification of Whole-House Energy Savings Predictions by Calibration to Energy Use History, also called the "Delta Standard," has been updated and the revised portions are now available for public comment.
To offer DOE’s Home Energy Score to homeowners, assessors must work directly with a Home Energy Score Partner and hold at least one minimum accepted credential, including BPI’s BSP certificate, Building Analyst, Envelope Professional, Home Energy Professional (HEP) Energy Auditor, and/or HEP Quality Control Inspector certifications.
